Since my company is Gold Partner with Microsoft, we have access to Windows 7 since August 6, 2009. So I installed Windows 7 64bit version on my wife's PC. She had a release candidate before 32bit that was upgraded from Beta then from Vista. But I wanted to go to 64bit so I had to do clean install (I know some may say that you can't upgrade from RC to full version but there is a way if you modify one file and install from hard drive) Well I just had to buy a new webcam but otherwise windows 7 had drivers for everything else and Vista 64bit drivers for too. To get her to be on the same level like before with Office, Email, Docs, Photoshop, Videos and new hard drive install, took me around 5-6 hours. Everything is great and stable and really fast. I love the system. I am almost ready to put it on my system but I have more things that might not work like Adobe Apps, editin video apps like Cineform etc... I just have to check everything. She is running X6800 CPU Core 2 Duo 2.93GHz and only 2GB of ram but everything is really fast. Big difference from XP and faster than Vista. I still want to try this Hyper-V XP compatibility mode, although I don't have anything that has to run in it
